[PS4] Memories not resettable?

So the default key to reset an instance is 'Triangle', I was trying to reset a zone in the memory nexus to re-run a memory so I don't have to wait for it to expire but when I press triangle on the memory gate - nothing happens...
I asked my friends if I'm doing it right, they said yes. I logged on the PC version to confirm and it works there. So the question is, why doesn't this work for me and how can I fix this?

Also to add, the function works fine for act areas, I can create new instances with ease but not in the nexus.

As far as I can recall, PC players were able to exploit the "new instance" mechanic within the Nexus - I believe distant memories were able to be reset allowing players to re-loot the reward chests infinitely (or something like that).

The exploit was fixed pretty fast, but the end result is you can no longer generate new Nexus instances from inside the Nexus.
