Cortex is POE boss mechanic at its worst

Let's not mention gross fight mechanic itself already
Spawning is disruptive Clearing any inferior boss area at first availability and reduce clearing/spawning other rewards a lot just for Cortex but those have been nerfed so whatever Loot is mostly laughable meme chest, (freshly nerfed) max resist weapon, (freshly nerfed) leech gloves and the last is multi ex flask Mods are terrible ilvl 80+ rare easily with a dozen mods, at ilvl 82 two damage mods most skills that hit oneshot my 10k ES, with 100% increased aoe one pool takes up a quarter of arena and major skills are all full screen clear, and then combinations of 60% more life 33% speed onslaught penetration charges gain on hit, and you have 5 chances of misstep Delve bosses could be similarly disgusting but there can be unlimited deaths if you can pay Oh well I'll just skip it like before letting Catarina happily live forever and loot from her minions as usual It takes up boss area 1/1 so if you don't pick up every fractured trash elsewhere and id then say goodbye to three mods Then can I give up if mods are hard and try a new spawn? I wouldn't mind Cortex if it didn't HIT SO GOD DAM HARD thank god for my 5 trillion gagillion DPS.
Like when something hits harder than an u-elder slam or a shaper slam or even a any type of slam that shit is stupid like not only that if you've actually have learned and look at the mechanics that it's NOT MEANT to be affected by mods. It's literally impossible to dodge most of the stuff with haste onslaught stupid shit like that. Like it even kills my friends 50000 ex immortal jugg with the correct mods hahaha that's funny sorry you :3 Dys an sohm

Agreed. This boss mechanic is just simply idiotic. I bet it's the same person who came up with porcupines. I hated this league at the beginning, but now i hate it even more. Just when i think i might enjoy it, i go to a cortex fight and remember why this retarded league with its retarded boss and mechanics is trash and why most players left so early. If this leagues mechanics go into next league, i'm never coming back to this game.
