About the Projectile Damage passive

Maybe my brain is fooling me, but it tells me that the question from the 2nd poster is still not answered. Maybe, I reformulate it:
If I do a normal attack with a bow while wearing a +1-2 fire damage ring, is the 1-2 extra damage increased by +projectile damage?
Yes. The damage is dealt by a projectile. Therefore it is affected by increased projectile damage.

I could ask the same for Wrath and Anger auras or Added Cold/Lightning/Chaos support gems.
All the same. Damage dealt by a projectile is projectile damage.

but it seems kinda ... imba!
Am I missing something?
I couldn't really say if you're missing anything, but I don't understand why you think it's imbalanced?
Honestly, it's probably not imbalanced. I should choose my words more carefully in future, I guess.
However, I do think this is very strong because it effects every damage mod form gear and auras. A lot of items can have 2 (or 3?) of these, so they can stack up easily. In my opinion, that's why elemental damage passives are so strong (and attack speed for that matter). Well, and since projectile damage even includes the phyisical damage on top of that, this seems pretty powerful. That's where my surprise came from.
Anyways, I quickly checked the tree and these passives are pretty sparse and not very high. So I guess they're fine as they are.
This makes me wonder how much Perfect Aim would boost my Elemental Bow Templar. Well, I'll never find out without doing the math.
Actually this causes some new questions too.

If we compare +Bow-Damage and +Projectile-Damage do they behave any different?

If I wear a 1-2 Fire-Damage-Ring do both modifiers increase the 1-2 Fire-Damage? Projectile Damage does as we know, since a projectile with 1-2 Firedamage will be created with the added projectile-bonus.

But how about the other weapon-modifiers? And how do they add to each other. Like Projectile-Damage + Bow-Damage. Or is Bow-Damage just the same as projectile-damage in regards to arrows as projectiles?

So projectile - bow is much the same as sword - one-handed (if I use a one-handed sword and a shield)?
There are no "bow damage" nodes. There are "physical damage with bows" nodes.

Projectile damage would increase the physical and elemental portions of your damage. The physical damage with bows will only increase the physical damage portion.
