"Avatar of Fire" and "Ruthless Support"

"Ruthless Blows with Supported Skills deal (75-113)% more Damage with Bleeding caused by Melee Hits" - Is this work when I use Avatar of Fire Passive Tree Skill?
Does "Chance to cause Bleeding" works? (I understand that Bleeding DPS will be 0 dmg, but does it count as "Bleeding"?)

The enemy will not be inflicted with Bleeding.

If the server determines that it would deal no damage, it doesn't bother applying it.
