The launch of our next expansion is right around the corner! We can't wait to see you travelling through the Memory Void in order to help Cavas restore his true identity, while encountering dangerous monsters and reaching valuable rewards. As always, in this news post we've gathered all the information you'll need to know about what happens on launch day and information on how to start downloading early.

The servers go live at: Mar 08, 2019 3:00 PM (EST)

The above times are displayed in your local time zone. You'll need to be logged into your account to see these. To change your local time, go to "My Account", "Manage Account" and "Edit Preferences".

If the timezone is displaying incorrectly for you, please disregard the above timer and refer to the countdown on the front page. Three hours before the end of the countdown, the realm will go down and patching will begin. When the countdown ends, the servers will be live and you'll be able to join the Synthesis League!

The patch size for the update will be around 3.5GB on the standalone client and 8.5GB on Steam. We've also made a torrent available for this update. Please keep in mind that this method, while available earlier, makes it a larger update as it includes all the existing client content. When patching begins for Path of Exile: Synthesis you'll also have a few remaining files that you'll need to update to.

You can find the torrent here. The download is approximately 14GB. This torrent only includes the GGPK file, so you'll need to copy it into your actual install folder once the patching server is up, no earlier than three hours before the Path of Exile: Synthesis launches. Please note that you can't use this GGPK file with the Steam client.

Path of Exile: Synthesis on Xbox One will launch at Mar 11, 2019 6:00 PM (EDT) or at 3pm March 11th (PST). Downtime will begin for deployment at Mar 11, 2019 4:00 PM (EDT). Please note that this update will require a full redownload of the game. We are very sorry for the inconvenience of having to redownload the entire game. We understand this isn't ideal. The reason the update requires a full redownload is because we've re-worked the file system which is an important change to pave the way for future tech improvements and to minimise potential future memory issues.

We are working hard to get a release date for PlayStation 4 users and are getting closer each day. As we mentioned previously, we will only be able to announce the release date two weeks out from launch. We are extremely eager to announce this date as soon as we possibly can and bring Path of Exile to the waiting PlayStation 4 community.

Also, we expect that the next Mystery Box will not be ready for the usual launch-weekend release, but hopefully have another surprise around that day instead. We'll release the Mystery Box as soon as it's ready after release.
