Temp Fix for windows volume mixer to display "Path of Exile" *Xsplit Fix*

I was streaming the game and Had no clue why the game would play sound put windows wouldn't register it as "default" sound. Therefore, not allowing it to be picked while recording, "What your hear" and even in Xsplit.

So I was about to use my HDMI cable with my 3rd monitor and I realized when I set that to default and run Path of Exile, i can control the windows volume of Path of exile.

This has been tested with other outputs (not with sdpif) In my case I'm using an X-fi Fatality Card with another audio output such as an USB audio or something of that sort. (even works with my Digital Blue Condenser)

1. Make sure POE is not running on your computer and not other applications are that are using sound are open

2. In the bottom right corner, right click the speaker and click "Play Back Devices"

3. After the "Sound" window Pops up. Check to see what your default communication and default devices are for playback

4. Mine are currently "Speakers(Creative X-Fi)

5. Now select another audio device that you can play sounds with. Typically it does not matter if you can hear them or not, just as long as Windows recognizes it is sound.

Then Set it to "Default Communication Device"

6. Now just simply, you can either close your game and switch back to the default speakers or
just simply switch. (I have tried both and they work)

Also, you might be able to just try it "backwards" if they'll work for you and cause less hassle when working with other programs.

7. After this fix, you'll notice it should recognize it 9/10 times after doing this.

So if this helped anyone please let me know, and there is an EDIT i can do to make this easier to understand, send me a message or just post in the forum. Enjoy!
