Fire Witch Wand/Shield VS Searing Touch

If you want to survive in end game maps you want one-hand/shield (unless you have great gear that lets you run with a staff). Otherwise you will not have the defenses to survive.

If you want to live vs. elemental reflect, you need capped resists for your damage type (in this case fire). Get Elemental Adaptation (5% max resists) and a level 20 purity (just level it as you go) to cap at 85% resists. If you really have a bad map you can get Saffell's Frame to be capped at 90% (this is really only needed on maps that mess with your resists).
