A little bit of everything. But I particularly like big band Jazz and progressive technical metal. Dean Martin and After the Burial are two of my favorites :) love me some Peter Gabriel too

I just listen to every kind of music I like, so it´s not depending on the genre for me. But I don´t like "gangster-rap-hiphop-music"^^, dubstep and things like gabba. Music I love listening to is for example Flyleaf (Alternative Metal), Tarrus Riley (Reggae), K´naan (Reggae/"good-hiphop"^^) and other artists with meaningful lyrics that fit with my view of life and give me a pieceful feeling. I'll bite. I would be amazed if you have similar tastes but here goes...
Quite different than most of the others listing music here. Psybient, psychedelic trance, symphonic(or fantasy) metal, and classical. Stand outs in psychedelic realm - Shpongle, Entheogenic, Tripswitch, Master Margerita, Younger Brother, Infected Mushroom Call me crazy but there ain't nothing like powerful metal alongside an orchestra- Epica, Therion, Kamelot, Haggard, Rhapsody, After Forever, Nightwish And the GREATS-Beethoven,Mozart,Wagner,Vivaldi, Tchaikovsky,Brahms etc etc. If I had to choose a favorite...Shpongle all the way. The most mind blowing band of the 21st century by far. Not for everyone, as you need a trained ear to enjoy all the layered complexity in it. |
