full rare set vendor recipe -

Receipe takes the lowest item level into account. I checked up to level 68.
Over level 60 it's a chaos orb.

And you can expect the devs to nerf this receipe over time again because if you repeat it you got many chance orbs/scourings and end up chancing the rarest uniques.

IMHO it is not reasonable to keep farming 'normal' diff bosses and turn 10 rares into a chance (or 2 if all un-ID'd) since rings and amulets don't drop that much to make the time worthwile.
Remember that you aren't progressing your character at all while farming low level content, so this would have been my personal take on 'balance', before the recipe nerf, anyway.
Either progress your char or farm for currency
I was speed-resetting between Alira and Oak since I cba'd to run Merveil up all the time.
They don't drop as much as Merveil, but it's faster farming.
I strongly believe, if you can't farm lv 60+ on a reasonable speed, just sell stuff for scraps to make alts > jewels, alchs etc

Regal are almost useless without an abundance of exalted anyway. I wonder if next year's act 4 will have a vendor trade up to exalted in it...hmmm...

This is an apsect of the game i really liked. Unless its changed I wont bother using it at all.
This dude is getting the same amout for his 5-23 ilvl as i am for my 55-62 Unidentified 20% set.

I do not like this change.
For people who play self loot and never trade it's a shame not to be able to make one chaos orb in middle game.
It was nice to be able to make an effective weapon at level 40/50 making the effort to pick all blue and build jeweller's orb and fusing orb.
Now i will just take some rare item and throw it if not good?
It's not very funny.

I think that this receipe does not work appropriately at the moment, something is wrong. I used lvl 50+ items only, and I received an alteration only.

Of course I did have a full set, I have used this receipt 100 times before that, but now, after the change, something is wrong. From what was written in the patch notes, it sounded like the receipts were updated and not destroyed.
