Unlock code
Hi,
I have to use an unlock code even though I only play from home. Is there any reason for PoE to think that I am logging in from a different location when in fact I am only logging in from home? |

" you have a dynamic IP which geo-locates to a different city than the others you've been on. |

I'm having this exact same issue!
My ISP has two different regional hubs which are close to me. Every time I have a disconnect of any sort, my router tries to get the strongest signal it can. That means pinging both cities and often switching locations to try and reroute the data requested. The practical upshot is that I keep a faster connection even at peak use hours; the down side is that PoE keeps booting and locking me... every couple of HOURS! |

I've never had a problem getting the emails - check your spam folder though.
The reason for it is Dynamic IP. If your router resets or drops the connection it changes the IP you are assigned next time you connect. So one day I could be logging in 'from' 'London UK' and the next 'N/A UK' or the next 'Birmingham UK'. In reality I'm in none of those places. It just depends where my IP block is registered and not my specific location. GGG were saying they were working on a solution for dynamic IPs. |

please GGG fix this issue, it is a minor one but it is very annoying

I for myself could login from 4 Systems with Path of Exile installed from my home.
It could have been handled like in Steam, to say which CPU in which location is your own, so you don't have to repeat the aquirement of the unlock codes. So long, me. |

this ^%$^$%^$ annoying... gimme an option to enable/disable it...
I sometimes use VPN to connect to my office pc and need to stay connected... then when i try to open POE it asks for unlock code... then i disconnect and open POE it asks again... this is annoying... and sometimes i dont get email or it is in spam folder etc... what is the solution? 1. give me an option to set this &*^*% feature on/off 2. save my locations for x days up to n location. For example keep my home location and vpn for one week... if i use one of them in 1 week period do not ask me again... if i dont use those locations for more than 1 week, you can ask for new unlock code... asking for an unlock code when we switch between 2 locations every time, every day, is really retarded...
