Non-Cahos into Extra Chaos NERF - How to remedy?

With the upcoming nerf to master crafting Non chaos into extra chaos, and trying to roll that + elemental as extra chaos being too expensive, what mod would you replace Non chaos to extra chaos with?

This is the weapon I will be trying to replace in the upcoming league for Winter Orb Elementalist build.

Non-chaos as chaos and elemental as chaos is so ridiculously overpowered its insane. Essentially it dips on every step of conversion. If you convert from phys -> cold -> fire, you'd triple dip with non-chaos as chaos and double dip with elemental as chaos.

We do not know what hte pricing of the different tiers will be yet, so saying its "too expensive" when you already rolled multimod on that thing seems a little uhh extreme :)

This statement makes no sense. Next league I will not have this. To craft one like it would require you to somehow roll both Ele to Chos, and Non Chaos to chaos, by alting and regaling it. I doubt that's even possible, and if it was, the amount of currency it would cost to try and alt regal anul it to a multi-craft-able state would be unreasonable for temporary leagues. Not to mention, the rolls would likely not be optimal requiring multiple divines. Too expensive is not extreme.

My question is not about the items power level, if you read I am asking which master-craft would best replace non chaos to chaos since it will be removed from master crafting next league bud. =)

Depends on the weighting for the mods, If you base it on the chances of a double phys as ele stat stick you'll have no problem especially if your willing to spend 3-4ex on one as is.

Also delve fossils allow you to roll more chaos mods which it will count as and should be a fairly viable method of getting both rolls onto one stick, then its just about lucky annuls (not my forte i'm at about 17 by last count and have yet to remove the mod I wanted on any item)
