Incursion question

I haven't been paying much attention, (story of my life), but I swear it seems that some incursion rooms that I do not touch get changed between incursions. Every time I think to pay attention to the temple map, it seems as if an extra passageway is in place that I didn't put there, or a room I haven't been in has been upgraded or changed. Am I on glue? Or is there some mechanism by which Alva or an architect or the boogieman makes changes on occasion independent of my meddling with the rooms?

Never happened to me. However, when you finish incursion and talk to Alva, there is an animation with rooms having connections you didn't give them to change into your real Temple layout. Perhaps it's what's confusing you.

Nope, not the animation. I guess it's only my own lack of attention and forgetfulness.
