Is it worth deep delve?

Lets be honest here. It it worth 1000-2500 suphite costs per zone to go deeper than 500 as opposed to chaining 30-50 areas? Thats basically free!!!

I would say go as deep as your build can comfortably go without dying lots and ideally at least 270 which is where aul will spawn.
Beyond 300 ish the primary gain is higher chances of fossil/city biomes/map nodes. I've seen screenshots of 1000+ depth where every node is a fossil but I don't think most people could feasible get or sustain that. IGN: Arlianth

If you want maps and xp stay around 300. If you want value stay at very low delve and just farm walls.

" It is hard to say as I've never tracked it nor done low level delving and the majority of the gains are from city biomes that drop stacks of high level maps and the occasion delve boss that can drop a 100 chaos or 20 exalt item which can vary greatly from player to player. it is definitely worth the price if you have to travel MUCH less to get to the good stuff, which is what happens the lower you go.
spending 700 sulphite per node but needing to travel 20 nodes to find a city, or spend 1500 a node and only have to travel 5 nodes for a city. yes i am purely making up numbers | |

In current situation its not even worth to go deeper than 100 or 60.
