How to upgrade essences?

I hope I'm not missing anything here, but I can't figure out how to upgrade essences on Xbox without an essence tab.

When I was getting the update but it was creating an issue as the system was not supporting the update and then it showed ERROR CODE 0XC0000428 and I did not know what to do. I have to take it to the vendor.
