Can't change bandit reword/can't take the book

There is a "change bandit reward" option while taking to Eramir, I click it and this window pops up



But when I try to select one (click a book, move it to inventory) it does nothing. Nothing is received when I move it to inventory. Am I doing this wrong? or is this a bug?
