Hey Dude , i am in LOVE with the idea of the build .. that's what i was looking for exactly ..

but your written guide is so lackluster for someone beginner-ish at the game ..! :(( wish it coulda been more detailed tho .. but i LOVE THE IDEA of the build

and til i can get a 6 link piece ! what do u recommend the main 4 links ? (keeping in mind that i don't have *Supported by Lv20 CoC*)

also , what's the passive tree progression tho ? through out the levels ? .and what (item stats) should i look for ? apart from (Life , Res) ?

Glad you like it :)

Well the build guide is still WIP as I redid it completely as it was Cyclone-based before.

This is what I am using atm, e.g CoC + Blast Rain + Summon Skeletons + Dark Pact + Chain. Without at least 5 link CoC (e.g basically 3 link Dark Pact and Summon Skeletons) just stick to Toxic Rain setup as I described in the Leveling section.

If you are switching to CoC setup early then except standard life + resists you are looking for crit chance and attack speed, at least until you will have at least Gifts from Above.

Also, this amulet is sick early ^ and is dirt cheap. Also you definitely want something that gives you +1 curse, so another dirt cheap unique:

After that our secondary stat is evasion so try to get some when you see it.

Also having +x chaos damage to attacks helps for stacking HoAg, it is bench craft that can be easily crafted on quiver or bow.

EDIT:

For passive tree, at start I just took some Chaos Damage nodes right at start (because we level with Contagion and then with Toxic Rain) and then I just took everything around as described in PoB in final tree, then I rushed Spiritual Aid and Phase Acrobatics. After that I plan to take some Power Charge nodes and then finally finish of with some defense and after that finish rest of the tree.

Unless I'm mistaken, there isn't a single bow with CoC AND +1 chain mods for sale (including offline sellers).

So I guess that's a hard pass?
OP, do you think this build is possible with Trickster?

Found 1 on Standard (with lvl 18 CoC, but that is fine) so it's definitely possible to get such mods. But you are better off just crating it by yourself as the +1 Chain mod with CoC is useless in every other build so I don't think many people are crafting and selling it.

But CoC and AS/Double Damage should be easier to buy as that is quite common combination, but it might be also a bit more expensive.

Also, none of my calculations are even using bow with +1 chain and DPS is still great, so you will be just fine focusing on other mods on the bow (even without +1 chain on bow you still have 6 Dark Pacts per cast).

I was thinking about Trickster too, but there is not much in Trickster ascendancy that is useful for us. DOT DPS boosts are useless, gaining power/frenzy charges while channeling is useless too. And this build needs reliable Power Charge generation. Having Trickster's defensive layers would be nice, but I think it would be very hard to make it work.

Updated main build again after some thinking. I decided to focus more on clear and consistency as we already have insane DPS.

- Dropped Herald of Agony and Withering Touch support for it - We actually do not need extra Wither stacks from HoAg because Vaal Summon Skeletons gives us 15 stacks easily
- Because we don't use HoAg anymore dropped Noxious Strike and replaced it with Ambush and Assasinate Assasin ascendancy. This gives us awesome QoL boost to mapping and Culling Strike + great damage boost on enemy low life, what means faster finishing on bosses
- Added Herald of Ice - Because we had free unreserved mana, added Herald of Ice mostly because we can always shatter and this provides nice QoL for clearing
- Changed some rolls on PoB tree to more realistic ones again (mainly jewels), DPS is still around 8M
- Changed current Wither stacks on PoB to 12 from 15 - Even though we can easily get 15 stacks, lets just count with 12 in case our Vaal Summon Skeletons is not that effective as I think it is
- Added Summon Ice Golem to setup because we had free gem socket and this nicely boosts our crit and hit chance
- Enabled Vaal Righteous Fire in PoB (it makes sense right)

There is still free socket in body atm, so what this change means is that it makes this build overall cheaper (no more 6 links required for body, now body requires only 5 sockets and only 3 of them need to be linked). And also we got rid of lvl 3 Enlighten, what removes some costs too.

I think this was good change. Of course it's up to anyone on how they want to build this, so feel free to just change back to previous setup as it provides slightly more DPS and has slightly more consistent Wither stacking, but I personally prefer mapping QoL stuff over DPS.

Actually, decided to roll back the Herald of Ice change and swapped back to Noxious Strike and Herald of Agony because Herald of Ice was not reliable enough (because we are not doing enough cold damage reliably).

But looks like that Herald of Ash works really well, so I will be tinkering with it a bit.

So I am experimenting with adding more leech to build and running only 1 curse. Essentially what this means is that build price will go down even more because we will not need +1 curse corruption on gloomfang anymore.

Here is what I came up with:

https://pastebin.com/fXnEex2m

I added Cherrubin's for more leech:

Switched some nodes around, and now we run both Herald of Ash and Herald of Agony + War Banner instead of Poacher's mark. It looks like its working pretty well atm, I am trying it on my character.

Thanks to these changes we lost some DPS, but based on PoB in semi-ideal conditions it is still 7M, so, not so bad, and we gained + 1.8K life leeched/second and 2 heralds at once and dropped 1 curse reducing cost of the build even more, so life is awesome.

Alright finally finished story with the build so I will be posting some more updates during mapping.

Btw I literally melted Kitava with self-cast skeletons, that was fun.

EDIT: Updated main post with leech changes as they are really really solid

As I finally had some time to start delving here is video of depth 28 Delve on my lvl 75 char (it is very low, but I did not progressed deeper in Delve yet) showcasing how great are both heralds working in this build (I also now have at least 5 link Dark Pact with increased crit strikes so my crits are finally almost consistent):
