Multiple Totem Support not summoning 2 Decoy Totems
I've linked the multiple totems support to decoy totem. When I use the skill it summons only 1 decoy totem instead of two. The +1 to max totems part of the skill gem is working however as I can have 2 up simultaneously once the skill comes off of cooldown.

It’s 1 per cooldown. Just like cluster trap won’t throw more traps than you have available.

The multiple totems support or the decoy totem? Because it does not make that clear anywhere in either description if memory serves.

I can't seem to properly upload an image to show my reference number and the fact that it says nowhere in the decoy totem description that only 1 can be summoned at a time regardless of multi totem support.

Imagine having to describe all possible interactions... it would be a testament for every little thing! Two totems can't be summoned as once, I think, because it would break the colddown limitation. Thats how totems normally work. The new Multiple Totems support specifically allows you to summon 2 with 1 cast. I just tested it with an arc totem as you can see in the screenshot (thanks for telling me how). Notice how both totems are rising out of the ground on the same cast. Decoy totem does not do that, and instead only summons 1.

The reason it is happening is technically because of that 4.0 second cooldown. I feel like this is probably an oversight given that the tooltip leads you to believe it summons 2 totems and then the cooldown begins. Hopefully we get word from GGG because its a bummer if the synergy doesn't work.

" This is intended behaviour. Because the skill has a cooldown you cannot cast multiple at once. As mark1030 also mentioned, this occurs with traps where you can't throw more traps than you have charges for. I hope this helps. |
