not really, People forget how aggressive the money sink is on chaos orbs or any currency in this game is.
this isn't diablo 3 where all the gold sinks fail spectacularly.
you can easily blow through 30+ chaos on one item. just like you can easily blow through 1000 fusings on one item.
the impact that multiboxers had on the economy was insanely overstated. even with multiboxing it still takes a considerable amount of time to gather currency. And the sink is still much much much greater than methods of generating said currency.
the value of chaos wont change at all. they never will because of how many you need to get a decent result.
now if the formula was for one of the orbs that we dont use much at all, like say a regal orb , or a blessed orb,
then those orbs would have lost value fast , because you don't need anywhere near as many of those to get what you are going for.
this is why augmentation orbs are so worthless despite the fact that they are harder to get than say alterations.
If you want to sit on your chaos that is fine. but it wont be the chaos that gains value. it will be everything else namely items that loses value (except for other orbs) since items don't have a sink.

Don't know why you're so worried about other people's wealth. It doesn't affect you unless you have a genuine concern over economic stability... which in this case, wont be affected much at all imo.
Let people be wealthy... why be jealous, go farm your own wealth.

the funny thing is that having alot of chaos doesn't = wealth.
this is a game where the top tier items are not measured in alchemys chaoses or even gcps
they are measured in exalted. and not 1 or 2 ... 10 - 20 .. 30 exalted
so yeah the multiboxers have some good pocket change , but they would need around 500 chaos to be even close to what can be considered rich.
even then, thats for one high end item.
