Map scrolling is very slow

When the map is open and cursor keys are used to move the map view around (such as when looking for area exits or waypoints), the scroll speed is painfully slow.
Is it too late to consider a slider for "Map Scroll Speed" in the Options menu? Last bumped on Mar 31, 2018, 1:22:17 PM

We'll be making some map improvements in future, and I'll make sure this is something that is considered.

This post is 6 years old, however, I am having this very problem with this game. I often scroll the map with my arrow keys to find entrances, waypoints an unexplored territory etc, but the scroll speed is SO SLOOOW! Please increase the scroll speed or add an option to increase it, as you said six years ago.
