Replica Last Resort, for the bonuses on low-life.
Bloodseeker, for insta-leech.

The Wasp Nest if you go poison.

You could test the Law of the Wilds. Very underrated claw IMO, as the wolves can distract enemies.

I don't have time to play the game atm, but I wanted to show you this video I've made to beat the record of the longest Vaal BF channeling.

With a complete set of unique items, I have reduced my attack speed by 99% and the results are quite fun (40 sec of Whirling Blades !)

My previous record for Vaal BF was 7 seconds. Let's say I have beaten this time by a long way.

Hi! It's been a long time since I've played PoE and I'm willing to give it a try. Everything changed a lot, since 3.15. Can you suggest me what to improve to make my char playable? Which skill do you recommend to replace Withering Step?

it's not that I ditched it, it's rather that I'm always hesitating between these two supports ;) So choose whichever you want, I don't think it makes a big difference anyway.

long time no see ;)

You should try Vaal Blade Flurry. Since you have high attack speed and inc AoE, that should be efficient.
You could find a helmet with "+1 max stage to BF" enchantment, but I guess it will be hard to find a better helmet than yours.
The Inc Duration support on the boots is good.
Onslaught on kill with the Brutal Restraint is good, too.

Maybe there would be ways to improve the DPS with cluster jewels.

i updated to new tree, went for energy leech + 10% insta leech, chaos res is gone, i dont die but dmg is too low now.

Hmm, maybe go with another dagger rather than the shield, and another amulet ?

I haven't played a lot in 3.20, so I've just realized that the legendary Bino's Kitchen Butcher Knife has been buffed like crazy.
I've used when I started the build, more than 5 years ago, but since then, it has been weaker and weaker compared to a decent rare dagger.
But now, Bino's is back on top, even if you don't use any poison mechanics (this is my case).

For 3.21, I've added it, and also reworked the tree a bit, after seeing the nerfs to several masteries.

sorry if this comes across as a rather stupid response, but I've been playing with this build upto now and I love it, but I've got no idea what to upgrade at all, I've basically just been following this blindly as a new player as much as I could, I've just got a few questions,

On the POB guide, your necklace has two 'physical damage as extra ??? damage' modifiers, how do i get this?

And secondly, could you advise on how to improve my gear from my current point?

Hey,

There are quite a number of things you can improve.

- I can see you've found an amulet with phys as extra cold and lightning, good.

- The flasks are also better now than on your PoB (looking directly at your character page : https://www.pathofexile.com/account/view-profile/Kounosuke/characters )
But you need a life flask with anti-bleed, very important for survival.

- Lifetap support for Whirling Blades should be kept at level 1. Otherwise, it won't proc often enough.

- Craft a bench mod on your rare dagger.

- Find a better body armour, with lot of life and "10% chance to gain a Frenzy charge on hit". You can find some good ones for 1 divine : https://www.pathofexile.com/trade/search/Crucible/YD2VnghY

- 20/20% on your Blade Flurry gems whenever you can.

- You can buy a better Ryslatha belt (40% less min dmg is the worst roll I think).

- Your Cast on Critical Strike support linked to Phase Run is useless. You would need an attack skill linked to trigger Cast on Crit.
