I spent over 500 trying to get a 5 link on a 20+ qaulity chest piece. Finally I found the crafting recipe and did it for 150F. Spent a shit ton of currency trying as well. I am all about difficulty in games but sometimes POE is a little absurd Imho.
Also been crashing again on the higher tier maps with larger packs. |

Y'all should feel lucky you can even try to mf. I've been struggling to get gear so that I can even survive long enough to make it past level 67..
I'm super new to this game and I just can't figure out where to grind for currency that my current really weak Marauder can effectively survive. I breezed through the game until the very end of it, now I just get smashed. It's a vicious cycle of I need better gear to grind, but can't afford better gear without grinding. First guess would be, you killed kitava, before you had enough resists to cover the 30% malus after defeating him. But the situation you are in, is actually pretty easy to get into. I am most of the time during leveling so focussed on moving thought the content fast, that I almost pay zero attention to my gear, and at some point can easily hit a wall, where nothing is easy anymore. Or just going dmg nodes first in the tree and then feeling bad, when you actually get one hit by bosses.
So if its resists, you could just spend some low currency items for crafting some resists on your rare items. Run blood aqueduct, or if you can desecrated chamber, if maps are too hard. Both have plenty of blue packs. BA has them in the top and bottom branches at the end and in desecrated chamber, follow the wall anti clock wise and on every podest you will find a blue pack and some of them in the last room before the boss. Kill the boss, if you can, then you are back at the waypoint and reset the zone. IN case you dont know, click a on the waypoint and then Y, by default new instance will be selected, so A again and it will port you into a fresh instance. So A Y A and you can keep going like this. In blood aqueduct, you just run from left to right, do this at the waypoint, on the left, you go into the city and press y when going back, to make a new instance there. Hope that gets you going. " I didn't know anything changed to my resists when I killed kitava, I literally just started playing a few weeks ago. Lol. Thanks for the tips. I will have to Respec anyways as I decided to go a different route and try to follow a guide for a character build instead of just going with whatever I thought would work.... Because it didn't. Lol |

" Found a Belly Of the Beast yesterday and two pairs of Goldwyrm Nubuck Boots which are bringing about 1Ex on console right now with a 18%+ roll on quantity found. Still no more Ex drops other than the 1 i found very early on which im grateful for lol. I am so new to the game and i didn't know the boots were sought after, i load in from the map, drop the loot and before i could get another map loaded i had an offer of 60C for the first pair lol. |

The POE gods are shining on me today lol. I helped a new player with his build and taught him some stuff. Got him some gear together ect. I spent around 13 Chaos to help him and he was very grateful. So as I posted above I found 2 pairs of the Nubucks and decided to try the pair I kept.
This other fella and I start mapping and he opens a random chest and an exhalt drops out lol. I am currently delving and boom, another Exhalt! That makes 3 now this league so far. I hope I don't jinx myself lol. |

So after a very long night last night, I have finally managed to get enough deals on some decent rares and tweak my poor man's build I came up with myself to the point where I can start to clear maps! Woo! I've only made it to teir three so far but it's a good start! Now I just need to save up for the rest of the stuff I need for https://www.pathofexile.com/forum/view-thread/2211489 this build. (Weapon, helm, amulet, gloves, armor, and one ring... Not much really .. lol I wish.) And I can reset my skill tree and finally "gitgud".

got my first godly drops! kaoms heart with 37% fire damage and my 1st exalt drop guys! also found might of the meek and intuitive leap, got 40 stash tabs up selling tri res gear and make 200c to 300c a day now. finding the best sales are ong divination cards, sold perandus card for 1 ex and a few others... if u guys use prophecys for monsterous treasure or 6 extra strong boxes and couple that with the sextant that gives you 500% quant from chests and 1 extra chests, u can get a lot of the good cards like ive got from this method

" I think grimro used this in addition with the extra map drop scarab running this on really high tier map. I think he made over 40 map drops in a single map. |
