Hello. L40ish Elemental Witch here.
Information on this Ascendancy node is confusing. Are these buffs active basically only 50% of the time? Or is there one active all the time? I want to know if I get 75% elemental damage boost for 5 seconds, and then 5 seconds of no buff and then 5 seconds of the 75% area buff followed by another 5 seconds of no buffs? What's going on? And now I hear the Elementalist Ascendancy is one of the worst. Is this true? I didn't put any points in yet but I chose the Ascendancy. Maybe worth choosing Occultist? hm. So.. im fresh new currently playing Elementalist and also read that Pendulum isnt worth.. i dont know now

You always have one or the other buff.
The main reason people take pendulum of destruction is to get to mastermind of discord, for the big herald buffs if they're doing a build that can take advantage of that. Most elementalist builds take Shaper of Desolation -> Beacon of Ruin first. Beacon of ruin is the reason to go elementalist for most builds. |
