Incursion possible to reset?

If I fail all my incursions and don't open a path to the top (never played incursion before and don't know how it works) is it possible to reset and retry opening the path again, or am I doomed to eternity to lose everything possible (crafting recipes) ?

you need to take the portal to the temple. when you meet Alva next time, there will be fresh set of incursions as well as new layout waiting for you
