"There is no time like the present" can't complete

SOLUTION
So i read this on reddit and it turned out it works. You want to find Alva, enter incursion and then exit manually using the stone portal. I had her bugged, found her in T1 map, entered, killed 1 pack and exited asap. She said something along the lines of "good to see you survived your first incursion!" and i was able to invite her to my hideout as soon as she stopped talking. |

I also can’t complete this quest in Betrayal league. Quest started and I did two encounters in Causeway but then I haven’t been able to get any more encounters in that area. The master is in town, but can’t be invited to hideout and offers no other options.

Glad to hear others are getting this. She popped up in Crossroads unexpectedly and I was worried she'd be permanently locked out (I know they'd patch it eventually, but still). Thanks for posting that solution, I'll try it when/if I find her :)

We know about this issue and we're looking into it. As someone has mentioned, you won't complete the quest unless you manually click the portal to exit the Incursion, if anyone is still having this problem then could you please try clicking on the portal when you're inside an Incursion. Running out of time currently does not let you finish the quest. Sorry for the inconvenience. | |
" Thanks for reply! Do we have to manually exit for it to count toward Alva's rank? I've done several incursions and even though i managed to finish quest i'm still rank 1 and she still congratulates me on my first incursion every time. |

The "leave manually" workaround worked for me too when I found her in Act 8, properly progressing the quest to the point of being told to meet her twice more in that instance for two more incursions.
But yeah, on the next one, I assumed the quest was "fixed" and so just let it time out, which brought the bug back for that zone. Have to manually exit every time for now I guess. |

" How many times did you clear the causeway before she respawned? I re-did the entire area about 6 times without seeing her again. |

She doesn't even spawn on her daily maps anymore so I can't test if clicking the portal manually will work.
