TL;DR don't use steam points

I got a steam gift card recently and decided what better place to use it than PoE? I could save some money and get the pack I want. After logging into the game and checking the store, it turned out that there was a difference in price from the in game store ($80), and the price on the website ($65).

So, I message support about this issue and get a response within an hour telling me to purchase 65$ worth of points and they could manually upgrade me to Subjugator. Little did I know the steam funds to Poe points were taxed and id have to pay an additional 5$ in tax to put the remaining points on my account which i'm pretty sure I wouldn't have been taxed for had the in game price of the pack been right... anyway

Its now been nearly a day and a half since I've heard from support. I ordinarily would just " lul, go figure " about this, but since the entire support process is sent through email and I haven't been contacted at all, nor do I use email, I don't know what to think.

Had I had known all of this I would've simply bought the upcoming expansions supporter pack which was conveniently available for the correct price. I know i'm whining right now. It just bugging me because it seems odd to ask me to purchase 650 points within an hour, then leave me in the dark for more than a day.

Tl;Dr - don't buy steam points. Pack prices are incorrect. had to pay 5 extra dollars because of it.

-Update- Fixed :)
