is my turbo button allowed?

I have a utechsmart venus gaming mouse, the turbo button to my knowledge presses left click three times. if i use this will it result in a ban? (need to know if i can or not )

Using it partially automates gameplay, which will absolutely result in a ban.
GGG wouldn't see a difference between that and you using a bot. "VPs are not required to change their posting style. They are still welcome to express their opinions and take part in any discussions they wish. Their only responsibility is to continue doing what they have always done - posting in a friendly and constructive manner."

A turbo button is nothing like a bot. Botting is automating the game so the user doesnt have to do anything. A turbo button requires players to manually press the button and banning someone for a common gaming hardware feature would be silly. There are probably tens of thousands of PoE players who play with gaming mice and keyboards, using the features they paid for, and never check the forums.
I also highly doubt that GGG can detect the difference between someone clicking 3 times and a turbo button clicking 3 times. They would have to be keylogging every single keystroke of every single player which would be a waste of time and resources. |

It is not allowed, and people have been banned for such macros in the past.
