[3.9] Ryvenn's Arc Trap Build - 6k + EHP - 1.5M SHAPER DPS ALL CONTENT

I'm enjoying the build. Although I swapped controlled destruction for increased crit strikes. I play on Xbox though and sadly if I want a stygian with double damage rolls, I'm looking at like a 20ex purchase because people on Xbox in standard are complete jews. I can't even buy the fossils to craft myself because the one guy selling them tells me to go farm them myself, which I can't do because 200 maps back to back and not a single niko spawn, but I digress. Without the double damage stygian I'm sitting at 38.8k un-buffed tool tip at level 85. So far I've done a couple guardians and Uber atziri with extreme ease.

Although I was curious why on the pob skill tree you used like 7 or 8 points to pick up the projectile node by the Ranger starting area

Just killed Shaper using these items, funny build.

Edit: Just killed Uber Atziri, 1 death because I got careless. Pretty much 1 shot her through the stages with the stacked traps.

Why do you skip the first nodes out of shadow by going around the int?

The outside path takes 4 nodes while the inside path takes 5 nodes, so for the cost of 1 point you lose 30 int and gain 42% increased damage. You could, for example, skip the trap and mine damage 14% node after the saboteur node for that 1 point and get 42% instead.

Is there something I'm missing? That seems like a very big cost for a single point gain.

I use the nodes i save to other nodes i can go to.

Right, but you can directly trade the red circled nodes for the green circled nodes in the picture and gain ~28% inc damage for no points. You'd basically be trading 30 int directly for 28% increased damage and 10 base ES.
