Its good to go a bit into the Templar tree, I usually do, but taking those mana nodes like he does is bad, and yeah not going crit is useless, and not taking ele overload on top of that, even worse, probably his first build he did himself and is sharing it, can't trust these forum guides sometimes, better off just looking at poe.ninja and see what the top trap builds are doing.

You get MOM and EB if you already have Tinkerskin - it also depends on the lifenodes you took. Ill change the progression tree once i get home.

This build is more focused on getting 7k EHP tho than getting damage since we can still get damage from a lot of Sources. Thanks for the insight tho :)

This build focuses more on getting more Life than Damage tho... im guessing you're more used to being a Crit Build?

Doesn't answer why you skip the trap or ele nodes, doesnt matter which you take, and go the int nodes instead?
I am following your guide and so far so good.
I just came across wand and I was wondering if this will be better than scepter with chaos damage


I know it has not a lot of spell crit yet but my bench has only tier 1 option so far.

Taking the Int Nodes helps me save some points to put it in other nodes. getting mana nodes also provides a bit of tankyness for MOM

This is really a great item man, Congrats!

should already take you to t1-t16 maps as long as you use that. just pair with with a similar or one that increases lightning damage too and youll be fine.


be sure to check to check the current league videos as well to see how well it does on other maps! will put a lot of them soon :)

Hey! First of all, thank you a lot for sharing this build, i picked this character as my league starter and im loving it so far. However, since am not very experienced in game, and, just like some people who posted here, i have a couple of questions.
So, i am lvl 82 right now. I was extremely lucky to make a 6l tinkerskin, got worm and +1 trap shaped gloves too, capped res, but yet have to work on the rest of equipment. I still tend to randomly die on t7-9 maps but i hope it is because of my gear not being complete yet.

My main questions are whats up with the crit in this build in general, do we need/use it? A couple of pages ago i saw this

Why are we going for some crit passives then? Also, why we dont use Elemental Overload node? Why we dont go for some lightning damage passives like Crackling Speed? Sorry if answers on those are obvious and im just being dumb ^^;;Im used to follow everything in guides precisely, but tree of passives made me confused. And i must know if i want to see crit involved subs on my weapons when ill be buying them^^

Also, once again, not trying to insult or anything, just honestly curious and confused, i enjoy playing your build no matter what o/
