What's the point not to use Belly of the Beast?

I was playing few characters around 90. For all of them best armour is Belly. Are there any other options? I was trying perfect form, queen of the forest, Kaom or Yriels Fostering... All of them are much worst comparing to Belly. This is so stupid.

LOL OP is thinks Belly is BiS not even remotely close.

Belly is often a good allrounder budget option. But BiS...never.

They give you less life than a Belly, but that doesn't mean they are worse in all aspects of the game. While life is very important in this game, it isn't everything.

If you want clearspeed, you choose a Queen or an Inpulsa's. And if you truly want to go defensive, you choose an elder armour. Hell, even a Lorewave can be better than a Belly in a lot of situations.

Belly is basically just a budget thing it's in no shape better than any armor really.

The more life nodes you take on the tree, the less appealing belly becomes.

If your build already has 240-260% increased life in passives and you can put your 6L somewhere else or don't need 6l (PP I'm looking at you), belly doesn't even come remotely close to offering the same HP as Kaom's.

As the other guys already said, it's a nice all around budget option if you're short on cash and you don't have much Life-% on the tree and on the rest of your gear.
