GeForce Instant Replay/Shadowplay not working
In fact, the entire Nvidia GeForce Experience Share/Shadowplay/Instant Replay and overlay functionality doesn't work for me when playing in windowed mode.
This started way back when D3D11 was introduced and never worked properly since then. A guy on reddit figured that this only happens on multimonitor setups: https://www.reddit.com/r/pathofexile/comments/9o38tr/shadowplay_issues_with_detectingrecording_instant/ It also starts working when i Alt-enter to fullscreen. Then it somewhat eeps working when i alt-enter back into a window. My full video config: RTX 2080 (bug ocurred on GTX 770 too) 2 1080p monitors, 144Hz main and 60Hz secondary Nvidia drivers: 416.81 Windows 10 1803 Game running in Windowed Fullscreen, Vsync off, D3D11, mutithreading on. edit: whoops, i meant to post this to the bug reports forum. bump, multi monitor system. Can't get replay/shadowplay to work unless fullscreen mode (not windowed fullscreen like i want)

I'm with this problem, i can start the "shadowplay" by entering full screen mode then going back to windowed fullscreen, it works but the image as the mode changed get weird like some high bright values, it messes the image in someway, so... actualy not a solution.

I've just solved it, kinda. (it's ulgy but works)
Procedure: 1. Open the game on "fullscreen" mode (so it starts recording) 2. Change it to "windowed fullscreen" (it keeps recording but weird image) 3. Change it to just "windowed" (i use some random "800x600" small, weird image fixed) 4. Change back to "windowed fullscreen" (done, windowed fullscreen with normal quality image) |
