New Endgame Area "The Forge" (4.0/4.5 Wish List)

Hi,

if Delve (and fossil spam crafting) does not go core, can we have a new endgame area called "The Forge"? (Visually inspired by 19th-century buildings, the industrial revolution, and craftsmanship.)

You battle your way through an instance and then a dungeon with (3) checkpoints. At each checkpoint, you can reforge one item, with affixes that are better than Master Crafts and or are very specific. Putting rare items even more at the same level as some endgame uniques. Difficulty should be on par with The Guardians Of The Void (T16). Also, as a downside, no loot should drop, because this area is hexed/veiled in mystery, inhabitants and the ancient craftsmen and women have fled their homes long ago.

- First checkpoint: Jewelry
- Second checkpoint: Helmet, Gloves, Boots
- Third (end) checkpoint: Chest and Weapons.
- An RNG fourth checkpoint for Jewel corruptions, with the appropriate corrupted boss protecting it.

Each checkpoint gets progressively harder.

And yes, I took my inspiration from WoW (Reforging) and Grim Dawn (Etram Fald - Celestial Smith).

Oh, and after watching TarkeCat's video about (helmet) Lab Enchants, can we also get an Eternal Orb for Lab enchants that drops in Lab, if you do not re-work (helmet) Lab Enchants?

This sounds cool but the reason it will never work is because there was way to many variables in POE. You would have to run it hundreds of times just to get one item. Cool idea though
