Shaper vs Elder Atlas Map Connection Lines
Not all of us are young with perfect vision.
Even then I'm not sure that people could see some of the connections between the maps when the Elder and Shaper get close to each other. I'm working on my last memory fragment (#12) and need to defeat the Constrictor on a red map. I lost half, maybe more, of my Elder influence when I missed a line between two maps that was obscured by the influence patterns. Could the lines please be coloured or something that makes them stand out a little better? Please take a good look at the connection between Waste Pool and Bog in the first illustration, and you should be able to see how I missed it. ![]() ![]() Last bumped on Nov 7, 2018, 2:25:27 AM

I agree, it would be nice if connections could be made a bit less invisible in the future. :)

Interesting that GGG sees it as feedback and not a bug. If you look at the screen shot I put up, you can't see the line at all which I would classify as a bug.
At this point I am verifying all of my map positions and connections through poeatlas just to make sure I don't waste a few dozen more red maps. I've finally got the Shaper back to the point where he can only attack Elder from one of three directions. On to Malformation, Torture Chamber and Waterways, while defending Promenade and Waste Pool. Wish me luck. ![]() Last edited by TheWarBoar#2877 on Nov 7, 2018, 1:18:41 AM

" No, this is not a bug. A bug is basically something unintended by the developpers, usually something technical. I agree it can be sometimes pretty hard to see, however it behaves how they wanted it to behave, it seems like a "detail" they overlooked to me, not an error in the system. I agree with you, I think that they should do something about it because it's not always easy to see those lines, and not everybody remembers the Atlas by heart at all. SSF is not and will never be a standard for balance, it is not for people entitled to getting more without trading. Last edited by Fruz#6137 on Nov 7, 2018, 1:31:28 AM

Here's a zoomed in view of the original map, showing why I considered it a bug:

Just to let everyone know, I did finally manage to overcome the Elder's influence being cut in half:
