How to switch from pc account to xbox account

Hello!
I have a POE account from almost 5 years ago but do not use my pc for games anymore, only for work (too expensive maintaining those gaming builds!). I have my old pc account linked up to poe but was wondering if I have to delete it or can I link it with the console account? Preferably I'd like to keep my pc account (who knows, maybe I'll win the lottery)... But I want to definitely link my xbox account for forums and such. Pretty sure PC and Xbox accounts are different and not linked in any way. Afaik you cant move over anything including in-game stuff or mtx. Not sure if this is what you meant.

GGG are working on Microsoft account integration for the forums, but this isn't ready yet. You won't be able to link the two accounts, but you don't need to delete one, either. They're totally separate.
