I'm new in PoE.

Hello. As a new player in PoE i have to check good builds for good hero? or can I just make it myself?

Does anyone have a build for ranger (speed attack cold or something like that? I just wanna be very fast).

Well if you like speed, this is definitely the game for you!

The best bet would be to review the ranger forums here and look for builds that may interest you from a skill perspective.

The ranger forum is here: https://www.pathofexile.com/forum/view-forum/24

Most ranger builds are fast in general so you probably won't have to worry too much about speed being a limiting factor.

I would suggest you start by following a build guide so you can understand the skill tree and itemization. This game can be pretty unforgiving if your skill tree is messed up.

There are ways to respec points that you have allocated on your skill tree, but require you to farm for in-game currency that allows you to do so.

You do have about 10-15 free skill "regret" points that allow you to remove a point from your skill tree and re-allocate it. These free points come by completing quests as you level that gives you the respec points as a reward.

When looking for a guide on the forums, pay close attention to the titles. Look for "budget" or "league starter" builds as they will be the friendliest for new players.

Welcome exile!

This^^ Ranger builds can be VERY expensive. Welcome to PoE :-)
Contrary to what has been said so far, I would recommend trying to just simply make a character without any guide whatsoever at first, to get used to the core mechanics.
Believe me, even just following a guide can be quite the task if you have no experience in the game yet.

I find it important to be able to understand the why behind the choices in guides. If you simply copy the what as best as you can without properly understanding why, it can sometimes even be actively harmful for a build.

So for now my recommendation is to play and properly fuck up your first character, learn from the mistakes and THEN follow a guide.
I make dumb builds, therefore I am.
First off, welcom to the POE family.

After DI anbnouncement I will spend more time here too and support this amazing dev team here more than ever. :D

If you look for builds I can recommend you some YT channels:

https://pathofexilegems.com/3-4-20-best-starter-builds-for-path-of-exile-delve/ (a good website for written build guides)

And ofc when you scroll down in the forum you can find different builds when you click on a class.

Have fun finding you favorite build. (It always take me 3-4 days to find mine before a new league, so dont worry if it takes longer. ;) )

If you have more question feel free to ask in the forum, its a nice & friendly community here.

PS: I can recommend you this build for the beginning...its fast, its tanky, good clearspeed, do insane Boss DMG, its cheap and perfect to learn the game and its mechanics. ;)
