Chilled ground sound effect should be removed

This thing just doesn't work.
I'm using "medium" channels count and most of the time the game doesn't sound like shit, but any map or damn delve with chilled ground mod — 80% of sound feedback is missed, a very important sound feedback, I really need that immortal call trigger sound and crits from orb of storms, and whirling blades sound duration, and golem resummon sound, and flasks 'drink' sound, and everything else.

Either density of CG patches should be reduced (but that makes useless mod completely useless) or the sound effect should be gone.

 
Why doesn't the sound occur only when a character walks on the chilled ground?
