Can one hit yield more than 1 charge?

The skill "Frenzy" states "Performs an attack that gives the character a frenzy charge if it hits" therefore correctly giving 1 frenzy charge no matter how often it hits.

Life gain on hit gives you life depending on how often an enemy is hit - so potentially (multistrike, ancestral call, Greater multiple projectiles, splash) more then once per attack.

Power charge on Critical Support:
"Supported Skills have (35-54)% chance to gain a Power Charge on Critical Strike"

The poe wiki states:" Only one power charge can be gained per cast."
So it seems on critical strike means maximal one per attack/cast!

Assasin ascendancy: "20% chance to gain a Power Charge on non-Critical Strike"
gives you maximal 1 per attack/cast as well?

Raider ascendancy: "20% chance to gain a Frenzy Charge when you Hit a Rare or Unique Enemy"

gives potentially 5 frenzy charges, when you hit with 5 Molten balls
Or reallistically 2 frenzy charges, if you hit with 10?

Voll's Protector: "Gain a Power Charge for each Enemy you hit with a Critical Strike"
can maximal give 1 charge / enemy - so infinitely many but only if there are so many enemies?

A single use of a skill (with the exception of Orb of Storms) can only generate one charge of each type per use. Chances of generation on the same event should work additively, so it should be possible to gain a chance of 100% to generate a charge, provided the relevant modifiers are actually obtainable.

You found the relevant passage from the PCoC wiki page, here is what the Frenzy page says:

"
Multiple Projectiles: When Frenzy is used with a ranged weapon and multiple enemies are hit, only one frenzy charge maximum will be gained per use of the skill.
Melee Splash: Only one Frenzy charge will be granted no matter how many enemies are hit by it.
Multistrike: Only one Frenzy charge can be granted per sequence of attacks.
Ancestral Call: Only one Frenzy charge will be granted no matter how many enemies are hit by it.


I can't recall where I read it, but generation from Terminus Est or The Red Trail also count towards this limit.

Voll's Protector does not share this limit, because its wording clearly refers to enemies hit rather than on hit, on crit, etc.

Orb of Storms can generate several charges over its lifetime, but only one for all simultaneous hits. Chained and split hits will not provide extra charges. It is possible to speed this up by using fast lightning skills while inside the AoE of the orb.

Charges generated when a trap is triggered or a mine detonated are relative to a single trap or mine, rather than a group deployed at once. Thus, it is theoretically possible to gain 6 Frenzy and Power Charges with only one action.
