Harbinger Bow vs Imperial Bow - Opinions?
I know a lot of the guides say Harbinger, mostly because of the increased Crit and overall damage, but Imperial (and Highborn, though with lesser damage) have faster attacks (+ increased Ele Damage)..
Thanks! :) Last bumped on Oct 31, 2018, 8:50:37 PM

in general, fast weapons are good for builds using lots of flat added damage, slower ones for phys damage scaling (or situations where attack speed is irrelevant like traps or mines)

" That was my impression as well, but am hoping to get a lot of "experienced player" feedback on it :) I have to upgrade my bow (I *thought my current Iron Commander was pretty darn good, but apparently it LOOKS better than it actually is :( ) |

Nah, iron commander is total crap unless you play very specific build that focuses on lots of dexterity (like 1k) and siege balistas. Get a real weapon (iirc we already have advised you to do that in another thread?)

Yes, I'm working on the resources for a new bow! :) NOW I know more what to look for, however, I am still SEVERELY limited in the current resources I have - so it's a (literal) grind. I have VERY few Regals, and not a ton of Alcs, so I don't want to Regal until i am 100% certain it's going to be the best I can get.

dude, you can start (and in some cases even endgame) with Lioneye's glare bow. It costs 1 chaos orb or less (btw I never try to buy anything cheaper than 1-2 chaos because its not worth the time spent when trying to find a seller who is willing to waste his time on the very cheap trade)

" That may be true, but I have had no success in buying anything (though I had one EXCEPTIONALLY kind soul assist me significantly :) ) So let's keep this discussion to rarities of these types. Ok ? :) |
