[Pondering] Playing only SSF STD SC 3.5 forward because Incursion + Delve + re-worked Master

... anybody else pondering with that decision?
Hi, since Incursion I am playing SSF SC (Abyss and Beastiary I played trade league). And as a casual, I probably will never get a chance at Uber Elder or Uber Atziri or all Breach bosses. Thus, I do really think about continuing post-Delve (with Delve going core *pray*), to play Standard; doing Incursions/Temples, corrupting my gear, to get deeper into my Delve, and maybe someday I will fight Aul or just get my hands on a Shroud of the Lightless, when I need it. I got one in Incursion dropped, when I had no use for it, now in Delve I would have a use, but have yet to get the RNG draw to fight an Abyssal Depth boss after a combined play of ~8 days in Atlas. Anything else (every 3-month a new league, start again from zero) just sets me up for failure reaching, seeing, playing end-End Game. Anybody else in my boat?  Last bumped on Oct 22, 2018, 4:17:36 PM

Depends on the league... which we know nothing about at all. Played in Standard during Bestiary and it was fun. So go for it. But wait to see what the league is like before you commit to it.

Standard is always there if the temporary league isn't my cup of tea. Delve and Incursion will make Standard better, no doubt about it.

I know what you mean.
I came back for Delve league because it looked so damn sweet (and it is). However, having a full time senior manager job, plus a hefty daily commute, I can really only dedicate weekends to serious progression, which means I cannot play leagues on a regular basis. Last one for me, before Delve, was Harbinger. |
