Game closes on launch

So I got my pc built (finally) after my laptop dying. The issue is everytime I try to launch the game, the patcher briefly pops up followed by the game window which then closes itself in about a second.

Anyone got any idea?

"unable to create rtt depth stencil or depth texture"

I tried running as admin and got this error, followed by the client closing instantly again.

Just came back to PoE myself and have the exact same issue. Standalone client closes in like 1 sec after patching is done and I see game tries to start.

This may be a really stupid question, but...

Do you have a GPU? Currently I am waiting on a 2080ti to be delivered so I'm running off the graphics chip in my processor which honestly is the only thing I can think of.

I hope someone can help us. I've heard it can be linked to fullscreen mode or windowed mode, but I can't start game in 32 bit version to change it there either.

edit: I have 10k hours played in this game and this is the first time I experience any issues.
edit 2: Game closes on startup with both steam client and standalone.

Let's hope someone can help us, never had any issues before (even on a laptop a fair while ago, where I had to edit the files to make the graphics lower than they should ever go).

Same issues but… For some reason, my "antivirus" (Emsisoft) keeps putting this game into quarantine and saying that it could be a corrupt file.

Not sure if this will help ya or not but worth a shot

I had seen that thread before, but since I have no GPU at present I don't think it would help. I have run PoE on a laptop with integrated graphics years ago so I know it is possible without a GPU, although not ideal.
