Spiritual Command Node: Minion effects Apply to You - Only apply for Skill Nodes

Please consider re-wording the Spiritual Command Node which states that "Increases and Reductions to Minion Attack Speed also affect you".

The way it's worded lead me to conclude that this effect applies globally such that any and all increases and reductions to Minion Attack Speed also affect the player which doesn't appear to be the case.

For instance, using Flesh Offering does not result in any changes to the player's attack speed. I didn't notice any significant changes from minion support gems (Minion Speed Support) either.

Is this really supposed to say: "Increases and Reductions from skill nodes and items to Minion Attack Speed also affect you"?

I didn't notice any significant changes from minion support gems (Minion Speed Support) either. Can someone "from above" say more about this situation? It is not clear and confusing

Minion Attack Speed is the name of a stat your character has.

Spiritual Command causes this stat to also affect your character.
