Crafted Body armour can beat Inpulsa's Broken Heart

It depends on what your build does and what it wants to do. There is no way to obtain the mods that make people pick Inpulsa's on a rare armour, but some builds profit from other mods more. You won't be able to craft a mirror tier armour and sell it to people who already have Inpulsa's as an upgrade.

can you link it? or do you remember what stats were on it?

Anyway I'm doing a pure lightning damage build. I want to use it for bosses mainly

There's no crafting affix which can inflict on-kill explosions. Which is the main selling point of inpulsa.

Also, what do you mean by "beat". Physically, morally, in a celebrity deathmatch, by surprise, under which fighting rules?

There are always two typical scenarios, and we add one for this league:
1) bosses, things like uber elder
2) standard trash around the map
3) going deep with delve

I think that for uber elder the explode thing is useless but you still benefit of the increase damage. For the other two point I think you can't find anything better.

I was hoping that someone can link to me some idea for crafting, with a lightning build in mind. Since I'm not really a pro player, any advice would be nice!

If you are about single target (boss), then any well rolled rare chest outperforms inpulsa.
This item is strictly about clear speed, in any other scenario it drops the ball - low HP, no resists, low basic stats, innate properties which doesn't work on tough bosses or are highly ineffective at best.

Basically, any shaped chest with high life/resists/extra mods is miles ahead vs single target.

But no rare chest can perform better than inpulsa with clear speed in mind.

Maps were breach portal can be used in boss rooms can make Inpulsa a boss killer.

? This question seems a bit dumb, if your going for defence anything beats an inpulsa fairly easily its like an 80 life middling evade chest, if you are talking about the explosion which is why everyone uses it no you can't, or we'd all be wearing rares.

For the record, if your build shocks itself for 50% increased damage taken from hits, most items won't beat Inpulsa's defensively.
