Can't complete Defeat Delve Boss I

Challenge "Defeat Ahuatotli, The Blind without gaining more than 5 stacks of Darkness Debuff" is consistently failing to complete.
Video included to show I take zero darkness debuff stacks during the entire fight. This is my 4th time trying it, this time from someone else's delve map. Have tried it twice from my map.
