Chimera invisible smoke clouds?

Question is how to see it.
Maybe it's my middle-aged eyes or my screen, but I see nothing. No smoke.

It is ideed way harder to spot but not at the point of being completely invisible.

You should post a pic

Edit: My bad you already did. That's no fucking normal :P

Have you tried different lightning settings? New global illumination makes things look smoother, maybe disabling that will add contrast?

I did. Didn't help.

I do have to take into account my GPU is too weak to take advantage of some of the new stuff.

But why not just bring back white clouds for this fight?

I understand GGG want the cool Delve experience - but this isn't Delve.

The fight was great. Now it's not.
And it wasn't a change to the fight itself that caused this. It's a bug in another area of the code.

There is no bug, not here.
The way smoke clouds appear on your screenshot is the same they appear on my computer, and I've never had a problem seeing them.

Now, suggesting that GGG make the clouds more obvious ? Sure
But it isn't a bug, and they aren't invisible.
SSF is not and will never be a standard for balance, it is not for people entitled to getting more without trading.

It is a bug because they used to be visible to normal people outside the eagle-eyes gaming GPU elite you seem to be part of, Fruz.

So I'm not suggesting GGG make clouds more visible.
I'm asking they make them what they were before: white.
And if that's technically impossible then make them the same color as Garukhan tornadoes. Those are visible too.

I don't care about the cool lighting tricks they added into Delve, if it messed up a non-Delve fight, that was so good before and is so bad now.

And speaking of Garukhan tornadoes, they used to be bugged too after Delve. Appearing on screen where there was no DoT zone, or staying after the actual DoT effect expired.
GGG fixed that bug. They can fix this one.

Stop being your usual annoying self and listen to others for fucks sake just once.

My computer is like 6 years old or something like that, and was not expensive to begin with.
I added one recent middle-end graphic card couple of years ago + a cheap SSD, that's it.

Far from a gaming GPU.

This is not a bug, it's intended, and I'm seriously wondering if there is not something wrong with your display as I can see that smoke cloud quite easily.

This is literally not a bug.
SSF is not and will never be a standard for balance, it is not for people entitled to getting more without trading.
Then your eyes must be a hell of a lot better than mine, if you can see a cloud like the one in the screenshot in real time, while being hit by the bastard.

Intended? Let's see what they reply on my bug report. Re-submitted it now.

I don't think it is. I think it is an undesired side effect of Delve visual changes, just like the Garukhan tornadoes issue that was fixed.
A bug.

I can see the smoke cloud in that screenshot, but I can see how a constantly moving screen can make it harder to notice right away especially since it's a very thin red mist that is right next to a blood splatter.
Can confirm that it is STILL an enraging problem.
On my potato PC, I ABSOLUTELY can't see any clouds at ALL.

Dynamic resolution enabled
VSync Off
Everything on the lowest setting

It's getting to the point I just run around in a circle hoping i randomly hit the cloud. It works sometimes but I fail alot too.
I personally never noticed a change. I also spotted the cloud in johnkeys screenshot right away without any zooming or anything but I knew what to look for I guess. I do think they can make them more obvious but I don’t think this is a bug, per se. And I’m old and wear glasses. Certainly not the “eagle eyed gaming elite”.

I think more screenshots are needed in order to demonstrate the issue more clearly. Just saying “I can’t see them” isn’t productive. Even those of us with “good” clouds could post some for comparison purposes to try and see if it is a video card or settings issue, or if the clouds are just that way.
