Question of Hollow Fossils/Abyssal Sockets and Chanced Unique interaction

Hello there !

I need to know some information about hollow fossil and interaction with chance orbs.

For Example if i use an Hollow Fossil in a Silken Hood Helmet, then i scour it and chance it until i get a Starkonja !

Does it work like this or the Abyssal socket is remove at some point or the unique is impossible to chance bc of the Abyssal socket there ?
