Asenath's Chant Iron Circlet - Curse on Hit Support

Spells supported by Curse on Hit Support will not apply a curse when triggered in Asenath's Chant.

This is actually not a bug.

Spells can only be supported by a single trigger at a time. IE: You can't have the same curse spell linked to Cast When Damage Taken and Cast on Crit. In some instances it picks one trigger to go with, in others it completely disables the spell.

Looks like Asenath's Chant is in the latter, where it causes the spell to disable completely.

I guess that makes sense. Currently have Vaal Arc linked. Tooltip says it will apply the curse on hit with Arc and is grayed out because it's a triggered ability, but obviously it doesn't.

However, using Vaal Arc also does not apply the curse on hit effect. Seems the helm completely disables any spell from triggering an effect while socketed.

Correct, because the issue isn't the gem you want to trigger the curse.

The curse itself cannot have more than one trigger, and since the helmet itself provides one, curse on hit won't work.

I learned a new game mechanic. Neat.
