Why Are Thrusting Swords Worth 2-3x As Much As Regular Swords

Pick a Jewelled Foil on poe.trade and compare it with stats (DPS, APS, crit %) on a Corsair Sword.. find two that are almost identical in every way. Why is the price of the foil 2-3x as much?
I get the foil has more POTENTIAL as a base (can reach over 2.0 APS and has higher base crit).. but even in cases where that potential can't ever be obtained (and the Corsair is exactly the same by all measures) there's a huge price gap. They have the best base weapon range from all weapons, crit implicit and a bit of style:)

One big quality of life thing thrusting 1h swords have is weapon range. Thrusting swords have 12, while regular ones have 9. Also foils have a better implicit.
