Is the question "Why do people watch these games more?" or "Why do people play these games more?" or "Why are these games streamed more?"?

hmm i would like to see some statistic websites then i considered twitch in my case
hay guys GGG cookie clicker is hardcore because copying builds from forums is hard and also trade tabs. thus all other games are smallbrain shit. twitch viewers are stoopid lol
When Stephen Colbert was killed by HYDRA's Project Insight in 2014, the comedy world lost a hero. Since his life model decoy isn't up to the task, please do not mistake my performance as political discussion. I'm just doing what Steve would have wanted.

dumb games attract more people. It's really that simple.

That said, both of those games are against other people. PoE is PvE only.

Watching someone clear maps and the likes gets boring really quickly and as such PoE can't have very high numbers.

overwatch is far from being dumbed down compared to most shooters/arena.

If you compare it to games like cs:go or battlefield, you'd notice that the game is quite complex. While these games have multiple weapons, the characters themselves are the weapons.

You could make a point that it's a less complex TF2

What I find more interesting than what games are being watched on twitch is the fact that twitch itself is a thing. The chat reads worse than trade channel spam. I don't hate on those people, I just don't understand what the appeal is.
Sound the dread alarm, through the primal body! Sound the reveille, to be or not to be. Rise! Stay the grand finale! Stay the reading of our swan song and epilogue. One drive to stay alive! Elementary, muster every fiber. Mobilize! Stay alive!
It's appealing for a few factors.

- You can learn from better players
- You can experience higher play than what you are capable of (same as watching pro sports)
- You can interact with the streamers/viewers (not possible in bigger streams)
- It can be more entertaining than just the game itself
- watching someone make an horrible mistake can be hilarious.
- (for some) boobies streamers

I'm in the same boat as you. I only ever watch twitch to maybe see live gameplay of something I'm curious about etc. Or a friend pesters me to come watch them and I don't wish to offend them so I drop in.

comparted to pathofexile they are seriously so bad.... and these kids play fortine instead of pathofexile?

i choose pathofexile as my main game did i make any mistake in choosing my main game?
but pathofexile is #15 on twitch right now hopefully devs make this a better game to play and get more popular

fortine looks so dumb you guys agree with me right?

Path of Exile is pretty shit too. They took many things from games of old, and fucked them up.

Emulators are the best way to get good games these days.

Every once in awhile I watch tennis or football (NOT American), hockey, or basketball. But I prefer playing all of the above, so, yeah, you got a point. I'm not much of a spectator.
