The Ignore list. Again

Hello everyone, IanRagnarok here.

I dont think that this will be read it by anyone, but at least i can try.
Something that i realise, is that we have a limit of ignored players, and this is bad (even worse is that GGG never did something with this, or at least from what i searched in the past).

Why this is bad? Well, the first thing is that i cannot ignore someone who is toxic, scammer, or any kind of behavior that i dont accept by any chance, becuse im at full. And with that in mind, i cannot do anything to keep playing with my chat clean or at least without any bad comment.

Someone can say that you can use the /dnd command, but if i do that, i cannot sell, if i dont sell, i dont progress THAT much and so on.

Another argument can be: "just clear the list of ignore and done, you have more space". But i read that (in reddit poe) if you do that, maybe you will encounter the same toxic player that you ignored and woala, ignore list full again. And even worst, becuse that person didnt change and tried to ruin your expirience... again.

So, why ggg doesnt destroy that limit that bound us to suffer those players?
Well, i really dont know. The population has grown over this 5 years i played this game, and more and more players come in each expansion. And the more you grow, the more toxic people can play it. And i can tell that the limit (i think its 100 chars) its not enough.

And the suggestion is simple: do not use a limit. If space is the argument, use something that the player must save the file, and not a server. And everytime someone who has been ignored talks, bam, the file come to the rescue and says "No, you shall not proceed to this sacred and holy player who is a good person and must not be corrupted by any blasphemy that comes from the tongue of any Doedre's students"

MANY of us feel your pain dude! We've asked GGG about this many times but no answer as usual. It's beyond time they finally addressed it. Even I've made a few posts in the past mentioning & asking about it.

You guys put the "ignore" feature into the game, which is a good step BUT with it being the list being very very limited it's kinda counterproductive. BTW, you CANT report "local" chat spammers just in case you weren't aware. I've asked this(and a few other questions) numerous times when GGG mods appeared in chat and via emails but no direct reply from GGG staff over the years.

So yeah man I'm so there with you about this issue!! I've been on it for years now like a few others. GGG will remain silent as usual and let the fuckery continue. Hopefully they prove that wrong.

Clearing my list of ignored scammers just so I can ignore a new one is a no go. Every normal chat allows you to manage your ignore list in some way. Surely this game should not be an exception.

At the very least:

1. Allow adding notes when ignoring.
2. Allow viewing your list of ignored players. Even a list in the chat will be helpful.
3. Allow ignoring more than 50 accounts. 50 is way too few.

agreed. i made a few threads about this, myself... and contributed to others, but i don't think any of them ever even generated a response from anyone at ggg.

the limitation of the ignore list renders it more or less useless.
