Texas Server Routing causing high ping?

Pingplotter doesn't give any useful information for diagnosing the problem - not that a steady 55ms connection is really much of a problem

The issue is in game latency is at 155 ms while winmtr/pingplotters has shown me at either 32 or 51ms pending whichever server (Tx/WS). This can be seen here: https://i.imgur.com/fDc1Dvs.png and other screen shots taken while experiencing no lag whatso ever in said programs.

Ping plotter g ives the same information that winmtr post would give, only in text format. The percent packet loss, the indication of icmp deprio, if there is packet loss etc, is all listed there. Just because it isn't your desired format doesn't make the data less relevant.

This!

Realy, there is something wrong with PoE atm. Im playing other games without any lag whatsoever, but PoE is just unplayable

Im posting from Eu, and the same goes for all eu servers. The issue is realy this: In game latency is at 155 ms while winmtr/pingplotters has shown me at either 32 or 51ms pending whichever server.

Then how about letting pingplotter run for more than 34 packets? That's not long enough to get very usable data, let it run for at least 300.

Ugh, this again. You do know that doesn't mean your ISP isn't having routing issues right? Read the stickies and run the WinMTR test and post the results in your own thread if you want any help.

Honestly, look at it logically. We have so many posts atm about in game lag and issues, from so many different ppl around the world. What are the odds that all those ppl are having issues from their ISP routing at the same time, that just so happens to have started in the past couple of days?

I'm pritty sure the problem lies within the network supplier GGG are using. But what strikes me the most is that they havent even tried to reach out to the players to explain the problem better, or even compensated by removing xp penalty loss on death for the time being, until this problem is fixed.

Then run the test and post your results and lets see. Because if you look at a lot of those complaints that bothered to run the test they're having routing problems on their ISP's side.

If there is a problem on GGG's end your data will help them fix it. If there is a problem on your ISP's side then you have the data to show them to help pinpoint the issue.

Or you can be that guy that keeps complaining without ever providing the data necessary to solve the problem. Your choice but your bumping this thread saying "me too" isn't going to help anything. But you'd know that had you read the rules for this subforum.

Good luck either way. :)

Well atm im not in the position to play the game or run tests, but i'll try to do that in order to help fix the problem.

Like i said though, i dont think the problem lies with GGG, but it might lie with their network supplier f.x

And i never said " Me too" I just provided logical thoughts on the matter :)

Logical thoughts... there are tens of thousands of people connected to, and playing this game at any moment in time. Your "so many posts" about lag amounts to a tiny fraction of people(maybe 1 in 10,000 or less).

The logic here is that there is no problem with POE infrastructure. When they have a problem they are very quick to admit it and give out regular updates of what they are doing (see last night after the patch deployment).

Look at the tech support forum. It doesn't take you a long time to see the increase in posts about lag and ingame issues in the past 2 days, and that alone does raise alarm bells. The odds are more or less that GGG aren't even aware of this problem, or do not have the information available to explain it to their customers.

And i have said so many times before, that i dont realy think its a problem on their end, it might be their Network service provider that has issues

You mean like the ones posted in the thread?

Just because you cant seem to scroll, https://i.imgur.com/KqZfivx.png
theres the first one after my main post.

What else you wanna point out passively aggressively?

the issue is on going.

Edit: https://i.imgur.com/F8Yiide.png another post in the thread. But yeah, only 34 packets shown. Want a 24 hour one? have one of those too.

There was nothing passive aggressive about my post. Of the images I looked at and links that I bothered to copy/paste none were of a significant length to be of any use. Sorry I didn't look at all the others, you can't bother to use the url tag and I can't be bothered to look at all your links.
