Niko's Fuel quest cannot be completed.

This quest has been bugged for quite some time. I've seen plenty of posts about it, but still no sign of it in "known issues," nor any unofficial solutions.

It seems that if you move on to the next area after The Coast without turning in Niko's Fuel, you will literally never be able to complete the quest, as Niko disappears from The Coast and none of his other instantiations will function with respect to completing the quest.

If anyone has found a solution I am all ears. And no, building flares and dynamite did not help. I can progress in the mine but "Niko's Fuel" just sits in my quest log permanently, with "Talk to Niko" as the only remaining task.

My husband has exactly the same problem on his account. The "Niko's fuel" quest just wouldn't go away and stays active, no matter what we tried.

Still an issue that hasn't been acknowledged yet.

I am encountering the same issue. Please fix that.
